I wish Amia Venera Landscape would make another album

Edit: apparently they did indeed make another album. Stoked

How can anyone say this sounds just like any other modern metalcore album??? Maybe I have some nostalgic value for these guys, but fuck!!! songs like Take and Fail just sounds like plain onslaught close to resembling Converge at times.Other than that I love the sludgy/post metal influences a lot ! Haste the Day might have been generic before, but with this album they clearly showed that they have grown as artists and stepped up their game big time. Also Jimmy's vocals are even sicker than 10 years ago !

^ He's not wrong you know. I bet Converge is mentioned somewhere in a Britney Spears thread.

Agreed. These guys have been kicking for over a decade. Jimmy's vocal style has been more heavily influenced by Zao than Converge.

I think this is the first time I ever mentioned Converge on this site. I think the rule on sputnikmusic is rather that you can't even post one comment without getting shit from other people. Can't we just have some serious discussion without bashing?

"This album is really disappointing in my opinion. It sounds just like any other modern metalcore album which means that scene kids will like it. "

How can you say that with a fucking Winds of Plague avatar? Half your 5's are shitty scene metalcore bands anyway.

It's good, but I probably won't listen to it more than a couple of times. In a lot of ways it pretty much is just another modern metalcore album

"it pretty much is just another modern metalcore album "

I kind of disagree with this. A majority of the modern metalcore i hear are the scene Hot Topic bands that play the most generic riffs and this sounds nothing like that.

It's not a bad album by any means, but there are better offerings in the genre, and I wasn't really into Haste the Day's sound to begin with
