Album's alright, some catchy stuff but seems a bit over-produced and too polished. Honestly sounds more like a Periphery album. The end song was a bit cringey but brought back the occasional humor their older stuff had. These guys were definitely way better as a grittier post-hardcore band playing Thrice riffs

The acoustic song is horrible, made me cringe non-stop, album went from a 2.5 to a 2 real fast. Yeah decent effort, not a good album, not a bad one either, i don't think they'll ever top Heroine. I feel like Matt is trying too hard

My biggest feeling from this album is disappointment, FFTL were the first band I found by myself and have a soft spot for them but they really have lost the little bit they had. I gotta agree with the review, although I don't mind "I don't wanna live in the real", thought it was kinda fun for a few listens
