I don't hate this b/c it isn't metal, that's such an overused argument against people who don't like bullshit like this. Not that I care what anyone listens to, I just don't like that assumption about someone not liking a new spin on a genre full of fans who have that elitist attitude. I don't know why this is being compared to Deafheaven so much, they're completely different from this. I just hated almost everything about this during the time I was listening to it, and not b/c it isn't metal. Most of the music I listen to these days isn't even metal anyway, even if I still love it.
did you completely ignore the part where i said i wasnt pointing fingers? one would conclude that i then wasnt directing anything at you.
and they are being 'compared' to deafheaven because deafheaven suffered the same treatment by many people who decided that it had to be black metal and since it wasnt that it was blasphemous
