I like the 3:33 version more than the 21 min one. It's much more of a song.... The 21 min one sounds like a bunch of different songs.

This is mentalist stuff! A twenty+ minute song, but not one bit is boring, except maybe the intro, but that just build up to that massive scream thing. Everything is crazy, the guitar and drums, the vocals and lyrics, all completely insane.

ME and a friend were listening to this, and once that screem in the begining where he screems " I " started, our jaws were on the floor. This is a really coolo song, but it kinda dies alittle twords the end.

...and its not that long.

This song is ****ing insane. I really don't understand how someone can rate this lower than average.. I love how Meshuggah just like scrambles your brain on first listen and leaves the less persistent in the dust. Yeah, I greatly prefer my music to remain unpredictable after first listen...

Neoteric, seconded. I love good metal, but this is a 20+ minute slab of directionless dissonance.



That is, that's how I felt when I first heard it. That was a year or so ago and I've grown to appreciate Meshuggah. Maybe if I listened to this again I'd enjoy it much more.

For a single song, this is just absolutely amazing. I love it how the first few minutes of the song are just pummeling chaos and then it breaksout into electric sitar! Probably my fave Meshuggah song
