If you play the album backwards, the synth recites a Satanic nursery rhyme! Fun!

Say psyche

I'm currently on Longhome, and it might be one of the best things I've heard this year. The drumming is so sparse that is a real punch when it hits, and the deconstruction of the whole piece in the middle of the song, with the voices and screams where it explodes into the guitar solo, ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I miss prog rock so bad

Psyche! But the fact you had to think about it says maybe they ain't so off base as album covers after all ;]

Yeah, this is one of the greats, nothing else really captures the push and pull of the moods on here (almost kind of like tonal inhaling and exhaling, maybe??)

Might have to bump it tbhtbh

You might as well, it's the first time I'm listening to it and it's definitely a 4.5. It might take a few years, but I can see it becoming a classic in my library.

Always thought the album cover looked like the cover of a children’s fantasy book. The album matches with it’s beautiful music that seems to emenate from a secret dream place. I do love it with all of my being. Album has always moved me. On the right day it can move me to tears.

Well, maybe that's my problem. It feels like it should be innocent, but what children's book has cogs? What are these cogs doing? What is the machine, the bigger picture? I feel like those cogs are looking at me...

Ughhhh, uncunny valley vibes

for fun, look up the actual original cover when it was released under "Godfrey and Stewart". Plainest thing I've ever seen.

'In April 2018 Godfrey announced his return to the band. A brain scan intended to determine the progress of his Alzheimer's disease showed no presence of Alzheimer's at all'
