dude I really couldn't live with myself. I'm too hardcore a Metallica fan and Dave's vocals are the only thing I don't much care for on this.

I used to like Metallica way more but ever since getting into bass and guitar I realized how much more complex and technical Megadeth's music usually is despite the singing, plus any sane person would agree this is the best thrash album ever made

Maybe ya'll are insane and I'm the sane one

and I don't really think Megadeth is any more complex than Metallica.

It's okay, Game. I prefer Metallica's first four to Megadeth's, but I recognize this is 5-worthy.

I heard a sane person say that Tornado of Souls is a pretty average song.

This x 1000.

Metallica was my gateway metal band and I knew shit about playing and songwriting at the time. THEN I picked up a guitar and Megadeth established themselves as my fav band. Picking up an instrument opens your perspective.

In retrospect, my comment about how this album's technical guitar playing pushes it into progressive territory was probably kind of dumb. Now that I think about it, song structure is what really factors into that kind of thing, and I wouldn't say this album's song structures are "prog-like".

A lot of butthurt Dave fagboys can't deal with the fact that Metallica destroys Megadeth and that's just the end of it.
