As time moves on, I like this album less and less. It’s so generic sounding

You know, I actually don't mind it as much as I used to; I think it's clicking better for me than when I first got into the album.

I think this album is a weird one for people and how it changes their view of it over time

Still better than TIW though lol

True, but I'd chalk that up to us having more time to fully digest this and where it stands in their discography as opposed to TIW; production still sucks on TIW tho.

I think this has my favourite vocal performances of Kyo, his vocals here are so raw and unrefined and it really adds to the atmosphere of the record. His cleans on Conceived Sorrrow and Ryojoku no Ame are perfection, but his more harsh vocal moments are what really steal the show for me (even though they are mostly unitelegible English). Its such a clear transition period from what he was doing on Withering to what he did on Uroboros a year later.

The fact this one of their lowest rated albums on this site is a crime. Clever Sleazoid is THE banger

Very few albums make me this hyped and energized, the vocals on this one are theraputic and great
