whether intentional or not (most likely the former) the sloppiness/off-kiltery(?) riffs just do not gel and don't sound good en masse. I commend artists for trying something different, but this misses the target completely. I can see why some would find the quirkiness on here appealing, but personally I think that the majority of the album sounds like a rabid seagull's mating ritual. maybe I'm to strung up on traditional forms of melody and composition to "get" this or whatnot, but so be it.

Its average death/doom, nothing amazing, but nothing so terribly it makes you want to rip your ears off. People who think this is bad should go listen to Doomthrone some more.

the creative decision to sound as inept as possible was a poor one. also, 4th as opposed to 5th in terms of harmonizing is avoided by the general mass of musicians for a bloody good reason.
