I think my sister only got this because she bought an early copy of Discovery, which is sort of nuts because even she was only 10 years old at the time. "1991" was always my favorite AB song even with "212" in the mix. it's a perfect song, the balance between the two halves is crazy and theyre both so pleasurable in and of themselves too

As big a fan as I am of this and RAM, I've always found Homework to be a little tedious and indulgent in comparison.

oh yeah Homework is definitely tedious. they could have shitcanned like 3 or 4 of those tracks entirely. still think it's pretty great, maybe 3.5. I liked RAM so little upon first listen that I barely gave it a chance--think I gave it a 2/5 back in the day...
