'Needs to get on Spotify'

I thought this was the Taylor Swift 1989 thread for a second and I laughed

Yeah this can't be as bad as one by one and echoes (what a pair of turds) I'll pick this up tomorrow.

What's the mastering and production like?

The mix is pretty sweet. The tunes aren't doing a ton for me yet though...

'relevant'

You know, since Taylor Swift removed her discography from Spotify and I thought it was ironic the same thing happened in a different thread also in my discussions but you know.

This is kind of boring the fuck out of me. : /

I guess this is really try hard? Idk. I'm not even sure what I don't like about this, but this is probably my least favorite Foo
release. Maybe it'll grow, but it doesn't feel like there's that much here to do so.

Some of Wasting Light's best didn't click with me right away (Arlandria and I Should Have Known) but they sure grew on me a lot. I don't think this will reach there but who knows, still need to give it time. Something From Nothing is actually a fantastic song and I thought it was just pretty good at first.

I find the better songs to be on the back end of the album

When Dave screams "fuck it all! I came from nothing!" I'm all hell fucking yeah, but the rest of the song is just slightly above average.

What Did I Do? / God As My Witness is pretty good.

I kind of didn't like anything after the first two tracks.

The Feast and the Famine is pretty boring, if I say so myself.

Yeah. It's not that great, but I actually think it's one of the stronger songs so... Blugh

Outside also is kinda meh, In the Clear is slightly better.

Yeah, this is pretty disappointing.

Again, only 1 listen but I Am a River had a cool ending from what I remember. I dig The Feast and The Famine and Congregation is pretty cool too. The rest will take some more listens.
