Perfect album in my opinion. Absolutely amazing musical arrangements in this. They followed up their awesome debut with something musically just perfect.

When i say they aren't that good, i mean that the 4.4 average is completely overblown. There are many way worse prog-metal outfits there surely, but just wait and see, the average will lower to about a 4 in a number of weeks, take my word for it. Enjoying some individual songs off of this though.

Dude, people complain for less on this site pretty much every minute of the day. I guess the 4.4 might raise false expectations, thats all, just calm down dude, don't take it so seriously. I just believe they're a bit overrated

I agree with the bass being the standout instrument at some points. That's an incredible achievement in the metal scene as it is. I like the violin style. It's different, kind of like the rest of the album. NeO didn't just stick to the same formula they had in Portal of I; they approached this from a completely different angle. Nearly every song in portal of I runs the same tempo and same 6/8 or 12/8 time signature. This album takes care to avoid that. While it doesn't have any tracks quite as legendary as Forget Not, the second half of Pyrrhic may be the most powerful and moving moment I've heard in this year's music.
