I don't like that 4 of the tracks are just the EP all over again...in my experience, artists just surround that core with fluff tracks and then release it as an LP to gain more exposure. I hope that isn't the case with Zella because she's awesome.

That's another way to look at it Cyg. I just get hyped for albums and when the EP tracks I already heard are the best things on there, it just leads to disappointment.
And yeah tempest, I was disappointed when I saw that too. Such a great track.
No matter what though this new album will be good.

New album has some clunkers but also adds a few new good ones. Gonna work on my review for it over the next few days. I definitely recommend checking it out to anyone who likes Lana Del Rey or even Lorde. Any hazy, hypnotic dream pop, really.

Not sure yet. If this EP was a 4, then it needs to maintain that standard to get a 4 or improve to a 4.5. I have this feeling it will be right around a 3.5, because the newer tracks - save for about 3 or 4 - aren't on par with the tracks already released in 2014.

Don't be disheartened...it's still really good. My main issue is that the best tracks are primarily from this EP. I'm loving Ace Of Hearts, Jameson, and Shadow Preachers though. They're all as good or better than anything here. I wish she would have included Sacrifice, but alas it will remain nothing more than a soundtrack song.
