"Haven't heard this and probably won't but his vocals have always been the weakest part of the band"

I don't understand the appeal of this band. This was a bit better than their old stuff tho...

Mall please write something positive for once. Most of the reviews I've seen from you are negative. Never seen someone so eager to listen to things they hate lol

Will not listen to this.
Big fan of the old screaming vox. But the singles sounded like the most dull, boring shit of all time

the melodies are pretty sweet but they've lost all their intensity, which made the lack long after such a special album

this is pretty! So much good chill ambient/post-rock/drone/classical/folk stuff out this year.

Don't remember enjoying anything off this as much as that hiding song off of that split.

Hiding was awesome.
|
| |
when i saw them do "hiding" live they had just done "cripples can't shiver" and it was crazyyyyyyyy emotional and then there was like thirty seconds or a minute of ambient guitaring and peeps were like "oh shit what's happening.................."
and then that riff comes in and every pianos fan in the room goes nuts

That sounds stellar

One of my biggest issues with this album is that the vocal melodies seem like a complete afterthought to the vocals....you're going to remove the incredibly emotive and effective screamed vocals? Fine, but you'd better dazzle me with some creative vocal melodies instead of aimlessly reusing the same five notes in the same low octave (which they failed to do).

first empire now pianos.
