this is poorly made, beats are generally awful, choruses and songs are overall pretty forgettable. car radio sounds like a dude discovering FL studio for the first time halfway through the song. but it's got a lot of energy and passion going for it, and the lyrics aren't as awful as blurryface. blurryface is much more varied for the most part and reaches higher points overall, but is much less consistent.

Nah. Blurryface is a complete train wreck with higher productipn values.
|
| |
and this was a train wreck with shitty production values so which one wins

Album Rating: 3.5
Well, not 21P because I guess both their albums suck.
|
| |
except for their s/t and a few cuts off regional at best which are 4+ territory imho
|
| |
How is Blurryface a trainwreck, like it confuses why everyone hates that album all of a sudden, it's more consistent, better instrumentation, better lyrics, more variety and the production doesn't sound kinda cheap like here
|
| |
the lyrics are terrible and the instrumentation is bland af
the only thing going for them is that they "sing their heart out" so to speak
that they're convinced of every word they're saying

tyler joseph is a dreadful vocalist.
is there anything okay on their s/t? from what ive heard about it, it seems...listenable.

Taxi Cab and Fall Away. Glowing Eyes from their second album aint half bad either.

The s/t is def a lot better than their other albums
|
| |
a car, a torch, a death , taxi cab, march to the sea are all pretty great songs from the s/t
i'd also recommend anathema from regional at best which has a borderline post-rock crescendo

lol clover seems to be way too compliant with other's opinions
the first time I saw your comments on this you loved it, now since the release of blurryface and all the hate that's getting you're starting to low your rating, and say they sux
I'm sorry i'll leave now
|

that or people's opinions can change over time
that or just because you don't agree with another person, doesn't mean you have to so defensive or combative about it.

normally I don't get really defensive, everyone has their own opinion
and when it comes to a band like this, I just have to be really patient, apparently they're really hated on this site

I'm so mad right now. I just purchased the blurry face vinyl and it sounds like shit and stressed out skips like 3 times. Note to self, never buy hot-topic core on vinyl

well yeah, sure. Im being tooootallly compliant. if you want to ignore the fact I rated one of their albums a 4/5 and their other two a 3.5/5. Not to forget that my stupid Vaxxi account shares the same score even though I rated this album on THAT account before Blurryface released. Also you'd have to have some horrible thinking if you honestly think id change my ratings to please random internet strangers on a music site. Also opinions on albums can change, which is super crazy.
i mean, come on, youre just being downright silly and it's suuuuuuuper embarrassing.

That sucks. "Stressed Out" is a good tune, I'm glad it's blowing up
