It definitely surprised me. Did not expect anything close to it being this good based off old albums.

yea like everyone else I wrote them off as a poor mans ABR which I guess up until now they've pretty much been

Exactly. I don't wanna say they aren't now but it's so well executed that it doesn't matter really.

Album packs a ridiculous punch.

New vocalist really brought new life to these guys.

I wonder if their old vocalist is happy for them, was he with them since the beginning? It must be kind of hard to hear all these comparisons/criticisms and especially since pretty much everyone agrees he was worse

Actually that make me feel bad for the old vocalist. Definitely not as good but all the praise for Cavey has to get to him. To be fair he had kind of a unique tone to his scream in a way.

He's solid. The band all around just didn't sound inspired.

This really sounds like August Burns Red.. But it's way more agressive and less uplifting

Idk what my favorite track might be. The instrumental is great and definitely up there. Maybe Defenseless just for the absolutely crushing breakdown in the first half. I struggle to understand how they can chug so fast, not to mention the double kick speed.
