My Strat rn already has the Hetfield EMGs (which are killer), I'm going full single-coil / ceramic for the next one. Tbh I'm just gonna shamelessly copy John Reis's setup - Curtis Novak lipstick in the neck, Rio Grande Fat Bastard P-90 in the neck because a.) Telecasters are already awesome b.) that tone in the first two Hot Snakes records is unfuckwithable

Yup, initially I side-eyed it but it's got such a versatile sound, really great for that cutting single-coil sound. I'm really considering a Reverend too, possibly the Corgan too cuz those Railhammer P90s and the bass contour sound killer (plus I love the black/chrome theme and maple necks, my Strat has the same look). It's a bit ugly but I kinda like the art deco look lol
