Jammed this hard back in 94. Blind was huge at the time. Only other track that got radio play was Shoots and Latters. Whole thing rips.

I doubt it. They are too fortunate and too happy to make an angry album with such raw and brutalistic power like this one.

This review captures my feelings for this album perfectly, to be honest. It has so much realistic rage, such as that mental breakdown in "Faget" and the five minute crying session in "Daddy".

Anyone who has ever been depressed EVER should immediately be attached to this.

yah daddy is fucking miserable.

its 12 minutes long and the last like 8 minutes is jon davis wailing into the mic while the band just kinda sits around...at the end everyone leaves the room and the producers tells him to shut it off and davis just screams and slams the door...fucking powerful...kinda had no clue what to think when i first heard it lol

The first time I heard that song I just kinda sat there after for like 10 mins just like....D:

The anger conveyed on this album is so real and genuine, I think that's what makes this a really special album.

^Exactly. This is possibly the angriest album ever made. There have been louder albums, more violent albums, and scarier albums, but there isn't a single album out there where the vocalist was just flipping his shit behind the mic.

This album was also recorded in a single day, meaning little time for stopping or error. The blooper at the beginning of "Clown" was obviously an accident, but the reason why it got the reaction it got was because they had to do everything fast; they were on the move and there was no time for fucking up. The producer even yells "GO!!!" after their banter because they had to get on with it.

There is a part on "Need To" where Head doesn't slide up to the correct fret, fucking up, but they had to go with it and so, to make it seem like he did it intentionally, he repeats this error overtime the riff is played from there on.
