is it a sakrileg to say that i find this the most interesting spoon record to date? Songs like "Inside Out" "Rainy Taxi "Do You" "New York Kiss" are incredibly good

No ti0n it's perfectly fine to have a different opinion on Spoon. I for one don't get the praise this band gets. I want to like spoon, I like bands similar to Spoon, but I don't like spoon. It's baffling really

spoon took me a while to get into. they are very distinct from most bands that came up around the same time as them and they're not really immediately affecting. but i feel like they are one of the most rewarding bands i listen to the longer it goes

I guess I need to give their albums more time to sink in. Which album is their most accessible klap?

i think Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga personally, but the first one i ever listened to was Gimme Fiction. Both are pretty accessible although gimme fiction is a bit more off the wall. if you want the most stereotypically "Spoon" albums in sound girls can tell would be it.

Ok, when I get around to spoon again I'll try out Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga or Gimme Fiction. Hopefully it will click with me next time.

kill the moonlight is and always will be the spoon-iest of all spoon albums

i'd agree in that kill the moonlight is sort of like a purer distillation of the "spoon" sound, but i think girls can tell laid that out first (and better imo)
