Imagine how bad DT's original vocalist was if they replaced him with Dominici. *shudder*

If this album were instrumental it would be a hard 5.

Oh for some reason I thought you hate everything about it

Naah, just the vocals and the production. I'm pretty sure the reason DT have never remastered or rerecorded anything from this album is because they're nice guys and would feel compelled to ask Dominici to come back and redo vocals and nobody wants that. xD

Whats wrong with the production?

I've never heard a decently clear version of the album.

The production is fine. In fact, this is probably the most presence Myung's bass has had in the entire discog. Knocking this down a full two points for Dominici's vocals, which are good anyway, is laughable.

Yea, not sure what you mean by clear.
You can definitely hear everything and the dynamics are perfect. Fortune in lies for example has a delicate intro and it gets pulled off perfectly.

The guitars and drums are muddier and thinner than I'd like.

They'd probably just have labrie do the vocals. Like iced earth did with barlow when they re recorded songs from their first album (even though the original vocals rule)
|
| |
LaBrie doing vox on this now would be a disservice to Dominici, and would be a detriment to the album
