I think for me it's more about how the vocal range they cover makes it seem like there's only one vocalist, you know? Like it's a seamless transition from one vocal to the next so that when you listen to the songs you don't even think that there are two vocalists imo.

They fucking ruin almost every song in some stupid way, mostly with the lyrics. Erased is one of my favourite songs of the year yet that bridge with the rapping is pretty damn awful

But the clean part after it is legendary.
