Agree with everything except this:

"In terms of sound there is little to no hints of The Wonder Years here."

The whole album reminds me of a subdued Suburbia, especially acoustic versions of the songs on that album.

That said, as someone who was really into Suburbia and TGG, I'm surprised by how little I took to this. Grapefruit and The Thunderbird Inn are probably the only tracks to which I'll return.

Wonder Years latest is one of the best pop-punk albums ever.

Ya'all need to back off.

Wonder Years latest is one of the best pop-punk albums ever.

This isn't anymore of an objective statement than "Wonder Years latest is one of the shittest records ever" so pretty much everybody needs to back off.

Dunno if it's just the spotify-rip, but it seems like the instrumentals are way in the back of the production. I mean, surely it's the vocals and lyrics that are the standout, but I'd love for the rest to keep up. Keeps me from giving this a 4 atm

Idk why but I just keep coming back to this album. Aside for "Runnin Scared" and "Get Me Out of Here Alive," I love every track.

This is pretty good. Not as good as I was hoping but still good.
I do think this is what happens when the current troobonic plague hits it's peak. You end up with a pop punk artist so troo he decides to go Americana.

If you want to convince someone something is bad, you're gonna need to do better than calling it "acoustic pop punk".
