Be me, pleb discovering 21st century Swans, then going chronologically with the rest.
It's weird how I wanted more diversity at the point of "Young God", then got this here right up.
It's pretty ok, aside from a few standouts. Money Is Flesh is such pounding fun.
Looking forward to Holy Money, especially after that early "Blackmail"-version on "A Screw"-EP.
Really appreciate all these reviews, dude. There's so unsatisfyingly little talk about early Swans online.

So this was pretty uninteresting. At least Filth has a bit of a wow factor to it. This kinda had no personality to me. In one ear and out the other with the exception of the first song.

Been going back through their pre-children of god stuff and I still don't like this at all bar Fool and Stupid Child. Money is Flesh is so much better live it's crazy.
