The Last One Alive is still the best track this band has ever released.

Two tracks in on Outlive and the guitar tone is really nowhere as strong as it was here and the vocals are way to far upfront in the mix, totally burying the guitars.

Outlive most definitely does not outdo Extremist in any way. Well, it's way more melodic, but that's about it, though the last few tracks are good. Lots of filler though.

Outlive's teetering between a 3 and a 3.5 for me. The melodic portions sound WONDERFUL when they work, but there's just some boneheaded songwriting / production decisions that drag it down.
