The artwork is really not okay... and it's not cool that when the band and label realised it offended (like, trigger-warning offended) so many fans and people were construing it as hate speech/transphobia, and they engaged in talks about changing it... well, they gave zero f**ks and kept it anyway. That's basically endorsing the sentiment, whatever the intent. I was surprised, Profound are a pretty forward-thinking label, and release some of the coolest LPs out there.

Yeah it is symbolic DooRight. It's in reference to when this guy (pretty sure it;'s a one-man band) got blown by a woman who turned out to be a dude, and the transphobia/violence he's endorsing because of this event. Which is pretty messed up, these people come to this music as an escape, and get flashbacks when they were sexually abused etc, and face this kind of hate. I mean, extreme stuff is cool, this is metal, but advocating actual bigoted hate and violence against a minority... I guess it;s like NSBM, one step too far for me.

"It's in reference to when this guy (pretty sure it;'s a one-man band) got blown by a woman who turned out to be a dude, and the transphobia/violence he's endorsing because of this event." Completely inaccurate, might want to read the article again, it's the complete opposite. Charlie Fell (vocalist) doesn't condone violence against trans people, he's all for trans people- he's been in relationships with trans. Don't get mixed up now.

Cry in a fucking corner. You know nothing about Profound Lore because this isn't the first time they've run into trouble with controversial albums. Plus, it's art and if it offends people, don't look at it or don't buy it. Very simple, end of conversation, you have absolute backwards logic. There is far worse shit out there.

So endless death metal albums feature people (often women) getting mutilated and disembodied but give a woman in the same scenario a dick and suddenly it's not okay gg sputnik

I applaud this. But seriously, don't give these people false hope of more ammunition to fuel their crusades of being offended by one thing and turning their head to the other.

Pretty sure you're making an argument for something only based on half a thought. Please read the rest of the interview as the comment above me pointed out.
