Saw them live on Friday night and was really impressed.
I'd grown slightly apathetic over Manchester Orchestra due to the gap between albums and this being a tad underwhelming. Their performance reminded me why I loved them so much in the first place.

this album is just wayyy too samey and nothing really stands out. except the guitar tone, which could use some work.

i dunno. i feel like it was generally pretty praised on here. its def pretty good, not great. i feel like they still have another mean everything to nothing in them. both the last two albums have some gems, just not overall great.

Guitar work on this album:
verse: palm mute power chords for a few measures
chorus: open power chords for a few measures
repeat until end of album.
