You're a pretty strict rater. I need to change some of my ratings. I have like 7 Beatles albums at a 5 ATM. Only 3 really deserve that IMO. What are the other 4 Beatles albums better than this one?

This does have some filler, but there are a ton of fantastic tracks IMO.

Abbey Road, Revolver and Rubber Soul are the only Beatles albums I've heard, Abbey being the only one that comes close to a 5 for me. Brilliant record.

Title tracks for both those albums are amazing

i'd argue the 'filler' people complain about is underrated goodness. even glass onion (which the reviewer criticized) is pretty damn good. took me a few listens to fully come around to

Yeah Help! is fantastic, MMT is probably one of the worst tracks on MMT again IMO.

Yeah this has some absolute classic tracks (While My Guitar Gently Weeps is the definition of omg) but, as is the curse that plagues pretty much every double album ever, it was too ambitious for its own good and is dragged down by filler.



Revolver/Abbey Road (can never split em), MMT, Rubber Soul. All feel so much more concise for me, even if the best moments on this rival the best moments on any of em.



Yeah I try to be objective with my ratings, like I can only 4.5 something if I really really really love it. Everyone has their own system though, and everyone's ratings are just as valid as each other.
