I agree. So heavy

I don't really get an Everything to Nothing vibe from this (referring to the comment that this
was ETN part 2). That was their classic to me. Everything they've released after that just didn't draw
me in the same way, but merely "passed."
|
| |
it reminds me of ETN bc that album had those "loud" moments that snuck up on you the whole album and this is like one long loud moment. it's definitely closer to etn than ILAVLAC and especially simple math

The production sucks ass

Yeah it could have been better. When the guitars get really loud, the drums disappear. That's probably my biggest complaint.

Pos. I liked Simple Math quite a bit but this is really good too. Will be spinning this a lot in the near future, I'm sure

though I just heard the end of Every Stone and yeah the mixing is pretty far off. But I like the aesthetic overall.

i feel like every single grain of effort was put into the production of the guitar which turned out excellent but the rest got forgotten a little.
that said, i think this is more consistent overall than simple math, although the highlights of simple math (title track, april fool, virgin) are better than the highlights here.

Pride is harder than every track on this, even though they're all hard as fuk.
