Not really because this is pretty bad and Sempiternal actually showed maturity where this shows major regression and completely hopeless ideas.

I would still choose this over Sempiternal any day and that's saying something

theyre both about the same quality but id rather listen to that just cause it has more variety. this is just so samey and stale

Well, I just finished to listen this record, and if I can say something really positive about it, it's that the production is amazing. So fucking crisp.

Some punctuation errors that made me re-read sentences a few times, but other than that decent review. I liked Daybreaker but all of the songs I heard from this felt like "just another" architects song.

This band stopped caring about writing anything groundbreaking a long time ago. They just seem content on putting out albums now for the sake of touring and wouldn't dare to write anything truly different or technical once again for fear of losing fans and becoming too inaccessible.

uh, they've never written anything groundbreaking. even their decent material was far from groundbreaking

unless you consider typical metalcore to be groundbreaking

I have no idea how you can call their first two albums typical metal core. I wouldn't call them groundbreaking outside of the genre, and they were definitely flawed albums, but if you can't admit they were at least ambitious on them then you must be deaf.

They're not even groundbreaking within the genre so what are you getting at?
