For all its problems, giving this a 5 seems a bit excessive...but hell, if Industrialjunglepussypunk every gets really big, this will be the Machine Head of the genre. Admittedly, I had an MSI phase but their style really didn't stick past the end of my "the world hates me and I'm going to hate them back" phase in high school...

Oh my god, I cannot believe this album is loved on Sputnik, I thought for sure MSI would be shit on by everyone here. I remember my roommate in rehab introducing me to this group when I was sixteen, and I fucking hated them. I hated them for being so catchy and annoying, so stupid and crass and so anti-everything I was about and loved in music. But still it grew on me, like a fucking rash, 'til I found myself screaming the lyrics to "Faggot" on a daily basis. It's so stupid in all of the right ways, like the song "TV Party" by Black Flag, it's stupid in an almost celebratory way, really carefree almost. Fuck, I'm listening to this right now for the first time in years and I can't fucking believe how much I still love this. I'm probably not brave enough to give this a 5, but it's going to definitely be a 4 atleast when I do rate it.
