I take it you like that track? Personally I could never stand it, in fact its inclusion on the album is basically the strongest factor

that prevented me from giving it a 5.

That's why they put it there, lol.

The album is a middle finger to anyone who thinks music should fit within a mold, and that song is a middle finger to anyone who learns to appreciate the shapeless mass that is this album.

Its more about the principle. Its ingenious, and it's inclusion in the album makes it what it is.

I did think of that, which is why I never criticized the album for the song's inclusion in my review. If

the was 5 minutes shorter, I would have no problem, but it's just such a bore to me. It meanders on

and on, and the fades between the song's movements make it difficult to be placed into the role the

music is trying to put the listener in. It's a brilliant idea for the song, and since it is part of

the album's design I can't really criticize Disco Volante for including it, and as a song it is the

band's worst in my opinion and skipping it seems to only make the album a more interesting listen.

The only Faith No More album I like better than a Mr. Bungle album is Angel Dust to be perfectly honest.

i have a deep love for bungles discog, but this album, even though it is to this day, the longest disc it has taken me to digest at like 10+ playthroughs, is my fave in their catalog.

for the sake or argument, i adore the bends. the magnificant aqua jazz makes you picture someone underwater frantically flapping about trying to unscramble themselves from the tangle of reeds. and then the everlasting longing for that acoustic guitar lick to come in with the uplifting appeggios nearing the climax of the song, for me personally, the number 1 song to fall asleep to.

good idea - valentines day

bad idea - valentines year
