Some nice musicianship here, and together with very harmonic vocals it makes for a well refined sound. There's a lot of promise here in the sound, though the excessive amount of melodic music may put some off.

This still hasn't grown on me one bit. Actually, the cool stuff I spotted here became a little... "less cool" on my perspective. Played this one more time and I just got so bored. It doesn't do it for me.

I love the amount of people blaming production in this thread. It's almost as if they think this band's style would dramatically change if they decided to go for a rawer approach. It almost always seems like "production faults" has become the defacto blame target because it's nebulous and easily misunderstood. I'm open to discussion, but people really need to understand when they have a stylistic incompatibility rather than fabricating a fault for disliking a piece a music.

a hyper-clean, crisp production style generally fits this style of music the best. that being said i dont find this very interesting for the most part, so i dont care about the production either way

Anyway this is really average so far, and I liked the new periphery EP. There is some interesting
instrumentation in this, but I have to sit through minutes of boring riffs and extremely clean generic
sounding vocals to get to the good parts.
