On Idioteque, "first and child-" sounded like prostitute.
so "women and children first and children first and children" sounded like "women and children prostitute and prostitute and"

Still would like to give this band an honest listen one of these days.

If you ask me Yorke is a bad singer but a great vocalist. For what that statement is worth.

Yeah you have to try this. Any Radiohead album is a good starting point though to be honest since other than Kid A and Amnesiac they're all pretty different.

First time I heard this I thought that Kid A just had really weird synthy nonsense going on and it
wasn't until like three listens later that I figured out that they were words and then like sixty
listens later I figured out what they actually were saying.

I know, I know. A friend gave me OK Computer and In Rainbows a while ago, but I haven't had the motivation to actually listen to them yet.

Out of those two I'd listen to OK Computer first.

Yes OKC definitely. It's often considered one of the greatest essential albums of our generation. A tad overrated imo but still awesome.

It's amazingly amazingly good but it still manages to be overrated agreed.

This is the worst professionally-made album of all time.

That is the worst opinion of all time.

OK Computer blows too, but it's not even close to as bad as this album. I will never understand the praise it gets. And I've listened to it at least 10 times.
Radiohead in general sucks pretty hard. "Creep" is by far their best song, and their only good album is The Bends. I will say that The Bends is a classic though. They should have ended their career there.

It sounds like you're trolling, but I'm pretty much positive you're not. Regardless it's a shame you don't enjoy their work after The Bends. That's where all of their best albums are, in my opinion.
|
| |
I wasn't a fan of Creep. One of the main reasons I waited so long to check them out.
|
| |
I'm not trolling. I just don't get the hype about this band, and particularly this album. I don't think I can stress this enough, Kid A is the worst album of all time. It's just terrible. But I'm glad you and thousands of others enjoy it. It's just not for me.
As a side note, Radiohead fans that say they hate "Creep" piss me off. It's a fantastic song. The only reason they don't like it is because their god Thom Yorke says he hates it. Thoughts?

Best song off of a sub-par album.

From what I have heard, they seem interesting. I kind of doubt I will be going around 4.5 and 5in all their shit though.
I dunno, but I don't like the song, and I am also not a fan of the band, so I don't fit your criteria. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if your statement has some merit to it.
