Agree with Ins. I kind of enjoyed it. It's a little tamed for my taste. It's like they've been castrated of all the vitality that made Traced in Air so epic, but I dug it all the same though.

"True hallucination speak" and the title track" are great.

Actually, Dunpeal, I have this at the same rating as KNY so could be. However, critically KNY was at a 98% average when it came out.

Yeah KNY was hailed as like the Second Coming when it came out but then most people realised it kinda sucks

Yeah, it could have been better executed. It's like they're trying to be accessible, while still showcasing a taste of their unique instrumentals, but both goals are never met in a prolific fashion. It could grow on me over time. Who knows.

"they nailed that on traced"

Yeah, but this is a further step in that direction, although stripped of the vitality of that album. Like I said, I didn't think it was that bad. I'm kind of enjoying it. but that's just me.

I'm just keeping this at a 4 because I'm guessing it'll grow on me and reach that point like the rest of their stuff took a while to sink in for me. Truthfully, it feels like a lower end 3.5 at the moment, and if it doesn't really start to feel right to me I'll drop it.

Also, Jac for contrib/staff
