This album is excellent. If you are/were a fan of Still Remains in the past, you will not be disappointed.
Review is well done. Captured my feelings of this album accurately. Does it justice.

I've been hoping this shows up on Spotify because I don't wanna have to pirate it. Been so, so beyond stoked for this to come out since the reunion was announced! An awesome consolation prize for the loss of Haste the Day at the same time.

Holy crap, this is an outstanding album! I didn't think Still Remains had it in them after that
garbage serpent album (Minus the song Avalanche of course!)
EDIT: I think the production is off because it was self funded. I actually prefer it, i don't hear
hardly any over-dubbing of the clean vocals like you would had roadrunner backed them again.

This is finally on Spotify, and it's really good. I was surprised. I personally liked their previous album, but this is really good.

Love this dudes harsh vocals. Reminds me of old haste the day.

I listened to a few songs and this sounds boring

They could probably ditch some of the cleans, but it's pretty rare when an album that came out a month ago can bring you
back like 8 years.

I thought the cleans were above average, but yeah they could probably lose them

They are, but there are times when they are unwarranted and take away from the song.

lol they really loved the cleans this album, but I found the choruses to be pretty catchy throughout. so glad they're back in action

The music on this album is fantastic but rendered barely listenable by horrendous, inexcusably bad mixing/compression. I just bought this album digitally on iTunes because the only place to buy a physical copy processes payments through PayPal, which my family and I boycott. I figure compression has a lot to do with it, but the cymbals on this CD are absolutely goddamn awful. Most of the time I can't even hear them unless I'm actively focusing my attention on rooting them out. When I *can* hear them, they're a a horrible, horrible hissing noise that hurts my ears and forces me to turn the volume down.
I have a $3,000+ car stereo with Focal speakers powered by a Mosconi 4-channel amp and a JL Audio sub in the trunk. There is no excuse for ANYTHING sounding this bad through a SQ build. Ever. Someone ought to be hung for it.

That sucks, cause I have a 100 dollar cd player in my car that I stream to through bluetooth on my
droid maxx and it get's my fucking blood pumping. Seriously, the songs Cain and Keeping Secrets are
perfect, even the cleans are great here. This CD is outstanding.
EDIT: Titanslayer, you didnt like the cleans in bare your teeth, keeping secrets and closer to the
grave? I actually thought it added depth to those songs in particular.

Yea tzar, stop being a lil bitch.
Bare your teeth and FFI are my jams

punckingham I didn't listen to the whole album so I didn't hear keeping secrets and closer to the grave. they were good in bare your teeth, but they seem out of place to me.
