Anyone else know other bands that play this style? It's some of the best I've heard.

based on the one listen i gave empire empire they are barely worth being mentioned in the same sentence as these dudes
whiniest vocals ever recorded + uneventful, uninspired instrumentation = poor album

Maybe I wasn't in the right mood. Context is everything, so I'll revisit next time I'm feeling down in the dumps.

agreed this is pure gold
you should check some other essential twinkles as well mongi, have you listened to the appleseed cast already?

No actually I've been so wrapped up in this I keep forgetting to delve more into the "twinkles." People call stuff like this twinkly emo, but the conclusion of Radio PC isn't so twinkly is it. Heavy as fuck :D
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
well yea but what the "twinkly emo" basically means is a mixture of indie rock based emo and post-rock
also dude give a listen for the split of deer leap and the world is a beautiful place, it's amazing (also deer leap's vocalist sounds much like gavin hayes of dredg, just a lot better)
