i wouldn't say it's a non-stop, flowing album; while it's true this is meant to be listened to as a whole, there are several seconds of silence in between many of the parts. i think of it more as a classical piece, in which there are several opuses, etc. changing the mood but the work as a whole stays relatively intertwined.
