not a bad review but albums like these you won't be able to express your feelings or intentions the

way you want if you're not experienced enough through writing

plus idk how the Ocean gets lumped in "post-metal" when they clearly have a more sludgecore approach

to their songwriting and execution than they do anything post-rock

as for this having a "schizo" personality, imo I don't see it. The sound here goes with what they been

always doing; heavy, foreboding senses of despair and longing under a seemingly serene atmosphere,

especially here given the concept of the album.

I prefer this but both are a classic. They're completely different from one another and that's what I love about CoL.

Thanks Relinquished, will most likely be adopting a different approach in future revs.

Thanks all for the feedback.

See, even you referred to much of The Ocean's work as having a sludgecore approach @Relinquished. Not trying call you out at all dude, just saying AHA. Atleast for Aeolian that is, I def don't see alot of posty-ness in that band, it's the only part of Leb's review I don't really agree with. He doesn't deserve a neg for anything but that, that's my only beef. They do have the occasional post-metal parts, but I think they mostly use it for effect within an album, to add open space, and yeah some epicness

Thanks Jac, thanks for polishing a few things!

Gonna try and make this a more consistent thing, reviewing is hard to get back into after a while.
