^^Agreed.

When I wrote the review the rating average was 2.9, hence a 3.3 is better than nothing.

might 3.5 though i actually dig some of the least heavy parts the most, weird one overall... but hell you gotta give em props, no other 80s thrashers were making music like this is 1997. despite the sort of return to sloppier heavier shit, its still progressive in the sense that its unlike their others

as much as i dig their newer stuff its kinda weird for voivod to be attempting rewrites of the 87/88/89 stuff when voivod's whole thing is completely abandoning their fanbase and going crazy every few albums. but yeah sweet ass band

i mean its amazing that voivod are what you get when you take the only people unpretentious enough to like prog rock, metal AND punk in the early 80s and put em in the same room

Such a weird, dark, interesting album. Rewards repeated listens. Criminally over looked. This needs more recognition.

How is this NOT a 4.0 average album? The pedestal stuck to the bottom of my foot, and then they picked me up and carried me off. I felt like a Jawa with a beard of bees. No one could find the holes for darts, but the ice wolf had a cure. I would give this a 4.25 if that was an option. Central nervous sound system. Give this album a chance and you'll be rewarded.
