Sadly, I'm really disappointed with this. However, I wasn't enthralled with EDASN either but it was better than this.

I guess they sound similar but I think it's pretty easily distinguishable personally.

Well this is sadly a step back from Empty Days but that album is a straight 5 and I honestly wasn't expecting this to top it. That being said, this is another solid Defeater release and has some killer tracks on it. Derek sounds as pissed off as ever and the drumming is especially awesome. Bled Out is the only track that comes close to touching the last album in terms of quality though.
