My main beef with the record is that their Keyboardist keeps using that shitty Eurotrash 90s techno saw sample. The actual parts are awesome, but the sample sucks.

Frozen has a perfect avatar for his comments here. Pikemaster does have sort of a weak chorus though compared to Deadfall and Black Marten's Trace. Good thing the rest of the song is boss.

Kalmah's albums are growers, they're never instantly amazing. Well, this seems to be the rule for good melodeath. In Flames, Be'lakor. I needed time to start liking it. Same with 12 Gauge actually. And I think this album will be fondly remembered in a few years by me. Good stuff.
