This album sounds so... industrialized/heavy rock. And I like it. ^^

just so that people know, heroine is the spelling for a female hero; the drug which many people mistake as the title for this album, is spelled heroin.

I think they perhaps intended a double meaning.

I really was dissapointed with this album, I could listen to every single effing song on Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count, but Heroine, theres a select songs, which I hate.

Personally, I hate the CD "Dear Diary..."

But this CD is great. It's so.... I dunno, it's just a very ambient, almost progressive, sound. I remember first hearing "Note To Self" and hating it. My emo friend bought this CD and hated it, but loves "Dear Diary..." so I got this CD. Kinda funny.

personally, i thought this album was awesome.
its important to do what you want (fftl that is) and not just make some mainstream album just because people will like it (cough, green day, cough) and just because they are touring with fall out boy, ect. doesn't put them in that category, i think this album is truly a work and its worth listening to if you aren't going to just be turned off by its "weirdness"

I agree. Their lead singer makes me angry. He sucks at singing, thinks he'd good at singing, and on top of that he's very unnattractive.

The whole "fake faces" bit in the new single is really dumb.

I love this cd. I've been a fan of from first to last since they just replaced phil with sonny. Dear Diary was an amazing album, and it was great at the time it came out, and it still is great, but there's so many bands now who soud so similar to the fftl on that cd. Heroine is very different from Dear Diary, and alot of From First to Last "fans" didn't like the change and exchanged fftl for hawthorne heights and the like. The songs are alot darker and have alot more feeling and, I guess emotion in the way they're played. Sonny's vocals are amazing and the rest of the band were great with delivering the great sound. Yeah, it was a big change for the band and fans, and the cd reminds me of the mars volta, but it's an excellent album and it's worth listening to.
