The vocalist here (Matthew Chalk) is one of the most varied vocalists in death metal I've ever heard.

His vocals are crazy period. I love his vocals on the valley of winds breath and dragons fire at 355-440. That is my favorite part of the album. The riff there is amazing too. I don't think i will ever find another death metal album that beats this.

This is pretty overrated. Songwriting doesn't really go anywhere, and Chalky knows nothing about music theory.

I can't be the only one who loves that there are no solos. They sound the same when it comes to 90% of
metal bands and typically end up as cheesy displays of technicality that destroy the momentum of the
song.
