- what? there's a remaster from 2009. There was a whole series of remasters from the albums. I haven't heard it myself, but the 2009 remasters for the studio ones are great.

I've only heard the original like you and Jethro, but I can say that the japanese remasters are really good for the studio ones.
There's remasters from 1998 and 2004 as well I think. go for the HDCD versions, they're quality stuff.
Also, and don't quote me on this, but I think there's a version of it in Steve Hoffman remaster series as well. He did a great job
with The Doors discog, and I think his versions are worth checking out if they are out there. Again, I don't know if he did, I want
to say.. yes (hehe), but I'm not sure.
