Dark Charade and Radio probably
The former is probably the most epic song they've ever done

I was obsessed with them when I first joined, then I grew out of them, but now with the new album I'm back in it :D

right away I got a small TMV vibe from it even though i was never big on that band, and the instrumental skills and musicianship has definitely improved a lot. drew manages to be more consistent on it, and though I haven't noticed as many absolutely ridiculous spotlight stealing moments from him his singing as overall improved

did not expect a track like Dark Charade

Yea it's definitely their most proggy work. Five years away really did them some good. The drums could be higher in the mix but I don't mind their raw style. It works a lot more on Feathergun and even better on their newest.

surprised nobody has reviewed the new one yet. i'm not a big fan of LGBT so far. i have to say that I was always of the opinion

that their similarity to Tool from their debut was more endearing than it was a hindrance. Obviously they've moved away from

that with each subsequent release, but the new one feels like more of a grower, to me, than any of their previous efforts,

where tracks really got at me from the jump

Not as a whole work but they definitely do some Tool esque stuff on here. Andrew has a very Maynard sound especially when he sings in a more subdued manner.

damn this does sound a lot like tool, yea it isn't as good or anything but I can't hate on a band that wants to sound like one of my favourite bands.

They never expressed Tool as a huge influence so I don't think they wanted to sound like them haha but it kinda happened I guess.

I'd say The Beatles and Dredg are their biggest influences cause each of them always unanimously say those two. Nonetheless

they do some amazing stuff on here.
