“My top 3 these days are this, ju ju, and kaleidoscope”
Same here, in this particular order. Hyaena is close 4th.

Nice pick. I'd say my 4th has be the scream. John McKay is such a crazy guitar player. Really set the precedent for a lot of bands in the early 80s.

The Scream is up there too, with Jigsaw Feeling, Metal Postcard (sampled by Massive Attack in Superpredators), and Switch in particular (a top 3 Siouxsie track for me, which is even better live on Nocturne). All their guitar players were top-notch.

Always loved their rotating cast of guitar players, each bringing their own signature flare. Agreed so hard about Switch. Really love Sububran Relapse and Mirage too, with the latter sounding so ahead of its time. Join Hands is also almost just as good too. Not enough love for that one

Yeah, it puzzles me why Join Hands is regarded as their black sheep album. I guess it’s The Lord’s Prayer that triggered a short circuit in the minds of many, but it’s just an excellent experimental piece if one can let it flow through the psyche.
