Unfortunately I have to agree with all that you say, especially in paragraph 2. It is the lack (absence actually) of any interesting guitar work that drags down the album. Except some interesting ideas here and there, it is all flat (see Sleepwalking, it pretty has no guitar work at all, only chugging chugs). I said "unfortunately" because I thought this band had potential. They did a great work hyping this album up as a "post-rock/ambient/metalcore" album but there barely is any of the first two things...
