Would be a 2.5 if it wasn't KsE.

People need to stop comparing this AOJB, they are basically a totally different band now even with Jesse back. Album rules hard

I'm not comparing this with AOJB. This is just boring as hell.

Pit, look at the comment on All That We Have at 0:06. I didn't write it but I knew you would love it.

Couldn't be happier as a Killswitch fan. The song formula is actually way more generic than anything they have ever released in the past, including their self titled. But it's just so damn catchy, and them riffs are way more aggressive in this than their previous stuff.

Duckman, I'm at 3.5 for this right now, but I still find it a little concerning that the structure is

so generic. I can't really sing to most of these songs, and I'm used to being able to scream and sing

to whole Killswitch albums. When a song sounds lifeless it is immediately very obvious, and it is hard

to connect to lifeless songs. Here the band aims for a more technical experience but then attempts to

balance it all out with super catchy, lifeless choruses. There are still few tracks that are

passionate as ol' Killswitch is known for, and for those plus the handful of other great sections I

agree that this is a solid album.

Interesting article in this months Rock Sound magazine (UK). Jesse had to audition for vocalist after Howard left (although he had an advantage being friends with the rest of the band) and he was training to mix cocktails with a view of selling / making money in NY bars etc

Considering the ratings for this, hopefully I like it. However, this is definitely getting mixed responses.
