I knew this was coming out in the back of my head, but I just saw that it was streaming yesterday, so I wrote this one quick. I usually only take an hour to actually write it. And then another hour fixing it/editing it

Reviewing takes a while for me. Sometimes I write a little one day and then more another, or an hour. It just depends on the way I'm feeling about the album most of the time.

For sure. One of the better anthems too. Usually the anthems tend to suck

^so i was listening to kids with fake guns again and i realized i'm an idiot. It's obviously a trombone because it's sliding.. I really need to pay closer attention sometimes lol

"Flaming Creatures" sounds like it could have been on Separation.

this kind of reminds me of Able Bodies, down to the part where it didn't grab me on the first listen (except 'Cardboard Houses'). it feels like there's a lot of unreleased tension that never gets resolved. but again, said the same thing about Able Bodies.

so i'll probably end up giving this a 4 in a week or so

great review btw, pos'd

Thank you for the pos. But I was honestly finding myself humming some able body tracks after listening to this release, but i thought the compassion was just in my head lol.

nah i think this is a few rhetorical questions and 5-hour energies away from being able bodies

not to say that Able Bodies is the most uptempo thing ever but it definitely has more energy than this album.

Lmao Able bodies isn't that uptempo at all. Just a few parts of it. But this has basically no parts like that. It's just so soothing

honestly spotify has made me download a lot less than i used to. Now I only download stuff if I want to run to it or if it's a leak. I'm also too lazy to find links anymore. So that probably has something to do with it too

Spotify has become the way I listen to like 99% of my music. If I don't know what I want to listen to or I feel like discovering new stuff I go to Pandora. But yeah outside of Spotify I never download anything.
