I think the album cover kind of fits with the album, like what you said about the track Good God? It's like a cover for a George Romero movie or something!

People seem to take Leprosy over this one, and maybe that makes sense taking into account the impact Leprosy had on death metal, but this album is so much more consistent. Leprosy has songs I skip, but with this one I feel compelled to hear them all every time. That said, Low Life is a beast. The riff is just so punishing.

ya influence is a hard thing to put into consideration when giving a rating unless you were already into the band or the genre at the time when it came out. I try to lend that perspective when I can, but this was slightly before my time.
