The filler here drags it down a lot, but it's still great.

"cant say i agree on Creatures......too heavy for their sound"

It was a step in the right direction and showed that KISS didn't have to be a crappy radio-pop band (Unmasked) or an Iron Maiden-knockoff (The Elder) to be enjoyable. It brought back the fun and energy to the studio, and if KISS kept going in that direction, they'd be considered a fun mainstream hard rock/metal band like AC/DC, Motorhead, and 80's Priest, but nope, they made Lick It Up right after that and went back to following trends instead of doing something new as usual.

No they're not. They proved that they can show spectacle beyond anything else in their live shows, and the face paint thing was something that wasn't common back then. Again, Creatures showed that KISS could've took risks and made them work, but nope Gene Simmons needed more money off teenage girls than quality music.

agree with all, Love gun is one of their best, but KISS overall is pretty terrible, id songs are good but cannot get away from the fact that their image is WAY cooler than the music, without the image the music doesn't fly at all
